FAQ

What other local chapters do ArcPickup collaborate with?

ArcPickup proudly collaborates with the following Arc chapters in the region: The Arc of Rutherford County and Arc of Davidson County and Greater Nashville. These partnerships ensure that your donations contribute to broader community initiatives and support programs that enhance the lives of many residents in the region.

What do you do when the weather is bad?

We pick up donations rain or shine.  We suggest if you do not have a covered area to please try to put in a plastic bag or cover with a tarp.

What time will The Arc pick up my items?

We pick up donations all throughout the day.  Our pick up hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Do I need to be at my home when you pick up my donation?

No!  We want to make the process as simple as possible for you. Leave the items outside where we can find them and mark them clearly with a note for Arc.

Should I mark my donation?

Please label your donation “Arc” and leave outside where our drivers can clearly see the donation.  We do not come inside your home.

What kind of items do you not accept?

Please visit our donation page for more details on acceptable donations.

Does everything need to be in bags or boxes?

Items must be in a bag, box, or tied bundle and marked “Arc”.  We prefer bags if possible.

How do I cancel my scheduled pick up?

Please call our office at (615) 248-4112 or email us at [email protected].

How does the tax deduction part of my donation work?

We leave a tax deductible receipt that is signed.  It is up to you to declare a fair market value to your items for your taxes.

Tax Receipts

Our drivers leave a donation receipt at the time the donations are picked up.
